King's Gate Primary School

Welcome Message

It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to King's Gate Primary School’s website and to a school where the key to our mission statement is, ‘We work best when we work together’. Here at King's Gate Primary we welcome children, their parents and carers into a friendly, happy and hardworking environment where respect for others, positive attitudes towards work and behaviour are encouraged and nurtured.

We are a brand new primary school on the housing development of Archers Gate and King's Gate in Amesbury, eight miles north of Salisbury. Our 24 values lie at the heart of our school life as we nurture the potential of every child. We are a growing school with approximately seventy five pupils on roll, currently in three classes; one reception class, a KS1 and a KS2 class. Most of our pupils come from the local estate, although we also accept pupils from further afield if we have places and forces families new to the area.

Our school has a warm, friendly, family-ethos that we all enjoy. We know our children extremely well and treat them with respect. Children do very well here and are appropriately supported and challenged, through high quality teaching, so that they can make good progress.

Through providing pupils with a wide range of memorable experiences alongside a progressive topic led curriculum we enable pupils to become life-long motivated learners with a thirst for knowledge.

We believe this website will provide you with lots of useful information and an insight into life at our school. However, if you do have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us via the school office or even better, please make an appointment to come and have a look around.

We hope that your links with King's Gate are happy and successful.
