My name is Amanda Prout and I am the Pastoral Manager for King's Gate Primary School.
I have nine years experience as a Teaching Assistant working across several year groups in local schools. I qualified as Emotional Literacy Support Assistant in 2021. Prior to working in a school, I worked for Salisbury District Council as a Customer Services Officer.
I am pleased to have joined a great team at King's Gate, I will be teaching the pupils various emotional literacy skills including social skills and friendship, raising self-esteem, relaxation sessions, anger management and counselling.
I also work alongside families to support their children.
My door is always open if you feel you need a chat if you have any worries, I will try my best to help you.
Outside of school I am kept busy looking after my family, shopping, and catching up with friends.
