Our key text this term will be The Boy at the Back of the Class by Onjali Q. Raúf.
This moving and thought-provoking story follows a group of children who try to welcome a new classmate, Ahmet, a refugee who has fled war and is starting a new life in London. In our topic lessons, we will be learning about some of the reasons people move from place to place, and how our natural environment affects that.
